On January 5, 2009, the election results were finalized.  The IBA membership voted for and approved the following:

• Ratification of the Interim IBA Bylaws
• Piero Genovesi as Vice President for Eurasia
• Mei-Hsiu Hwang as new Council member
• Andreas Zedrosser as new Council member

Congratulations to our new Council members! We would also like to thank all of the candidates for their willingness to serve.  This year, we were presented with a list of highly qualified candidates, with a very close election.

The IBA would also like to extend our gratitude for a job well done to our outgoing Council members:

• Isaac Goldstein
• Djuro Huber
• Michael Vaughan

We'll miss you, but are glad you will continue to be involved with other IBA committees!
