One of the main goals of the Second International Symposium on the Andean Bear is bringing together the largest number of Andean Bear research, conservation and management stakeholders, and promote the sharing of information and experiences. Considering that many individuals work in institutions or organization in the 5 Andean countries that have very limited funds to travel and attend international meetings, we are committing an important part of the budget to provide travel, accommodation and food grants. However, our funds are limited and the number of grants will be limited. Persons with accepted presentations will have first choice.
