As of August, 2012, Jerry Belant will take the place of our long-time EIC, Rich Harris.  Rich is moving on to new adventures, but will be working closely with the Ursus staff to ensure a smooth transition.  In addition, Rich will continue to serve in an advisory position with Ursus.

Since Volume 15 (2004), Ursus is covered by Thomson ISI in their products Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology and Environmental Sciences, and Science Citation Index Expanded.

The 2011 ISI Impact Factor for Ursus was 0.850 (95th of 146 journals in Zoology).

Ursus is also sent in print form directly from our publisher, Allen Press, to full IBA subscribers, twice yearly.

Ursus welcomes new Associate Editor Sterling Miller of the National Wildlife Federation.
